1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Koha ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Koha is a freelancer invoicing platform that enables users to create, send, and manage invoices, accept payments via Stripe Connect, set up recurring billing, and automate payment reminders. The Service includes AI-powered features for line item suggestions and description generation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Koha. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Koha offers three subscription tiers: Free ($0/month — 5 invoices, 3 clients), Pro ($12/month — 50 invoices, 30 clients, recurring invoices, payment reminders, PDF export, AI features), and Team ($29/month — unlimited invoices and clients, payment prediction, API access). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all content and materials you create using Koha. Koha retains all rights to the platform, software, and underlying technology. You grant Koha a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Koha and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
